Groundhog/Marmot Bento

We had a really busy weekends, all of us were really tired out. I had wanted to go Daiso last night, but the boys were really tired and woke up very late from their nap, so I had to forgo. I hope I will be able to go this Sun, there are a couple of stuff I want to buy.

Today, I tried to coat my meatballs with mayo and breadcrumbs and then, I baked them in the oven. The meatballs turned out really moist and juicy. Hmmm, is it coz of the mayo? I made a groundhog and sunflowers to decorate their bento today. And I think this is the first time I added some sweets in their lunch box. I couldn't resist getting his box of sweets from the supermarket last week, simply because they look so pretty. :)

IT's bento, with the same food. There's no sunflower here, because one weiner can only give me 2 sunflowers, and I used the other one in his snack box instead. :P

My light lunch today, needed something light coz I've been eating chili crabs 2 days in a row. :P I'm having spinach mix, shrimps, cranberries and walnuts in balsamic dressing. :)

Angry Birds' King Pig Bento

I made a green pig bento sometime back, the boys asked me to add a crown then, so that he can become king pig. I finally got the crown picks, thanks to the bento seller Jmama, who kindly helped me to search for them. The original crown pick that I was looking for is no longer in production, so I had to settle for these transparent ones instead.

I din have much time for the snack box, so I just jazz them up with some cute picks. :)

I bought an angry birds toy set for the boys, very cool set, where they can play angry birds in real life. They love it and it's now their favourite toy, for the time being...lol.

Elephant Bento

I've a problem using up the purple color satchet in the rice coloring packet. O.o I dunno what to use it for. In the end, I decided to use it to make an elephant. Din really like how it turned out though.Please share with me if u have any ideas of what to use the purple satchet for. Snack today is rice krispies yoghurt bar, a super speedy snack bento.

Smiley Medal Bento

Made a smiley medal out of egg for them today. The main was stir fry udon. The medal in the picture was from the Standard Chartered Kids Dash. The boys participated in it last year, and they got the medal from the run. It was their first time participating in a run, they enjoyed it so we will be joining again this year.

Snack bento was rice krispies yoghurt bars, IT loves them. I used a heart cookie cutter to cut them out.
