Hi! I'm Ming, a stay-at-home mum to 2 boys. I started bento-ing since my first born, IT was in Nursery in 2008. I started making charabens when he went to primary school in 2011. He missed me terribly then and had problems adjusting to the longer hours at primary school. I started packing him charabens, along with lunch notes, hoping to cheer him up and let him feel my presence and love through them. My younger boy, LT loves the charabens I make for his brother and requested for them too. It's also in that year I started taking photos of all the bentos I made. We would print out the photos and stuck them to a notebook to flip through. When the photos started piling up, I decided that a blog would be easier to document down the bentos I've made for them. And that was how this blog started in August 2011.
This blog is a platform for me to journal down the bentos I've done. Am thankful for the abundant resources on the internet, most of the earlier bentos you see on my blog have been inspired by others' creations. Over the years, making food cute has evolved into a hobby for me, something I indulge in whenever I have pockets of free time.
If you have any questions on my bentos, please email me at bentomonsters@gmail.com. Please do not leave me a comment when you have questions as I hardly check my comments now. I might not be an expert, but I'm more than happy to share and answer any questions.
Writing is not my forte, please excuse my grammatical errors and limited vocabulary. :) And lastly, thank you for dropping by. :)
