Chihiro bento which I made last Thursday. Chihiro is made using crabstick, ham, nori and kombu. The side dishes were Shio-koji pork, spinach, tomato and mentaiko hanpen.
I've to admit I don't really like to eat charabens, lol. I prefer to eat a traditional bento instead.
Here's a bento I packed for myself last week, filled the box with teriyaki beef, sprouts, okra, tomato and mentaiko hanpen.

谢谢你！我其实并不是舍不得吃，而是不太喜欢吃制作造型便当所使用的一些材料如乳酪，火腿。总觉得这些材料搭配饭吃起来很奇怪。

ReplyDeleteLulu, I've bought the end pdt, hv not seen the grains used for culture. Meidi-ya has a few types. Jmart at 112 katong n Sakuraya fish mart at Parkway both only carry one type each n it's a different brand at both shops. :)

I hardly travel at all, lol. I stay at EC! So parkway n 112 katong are my regular places. But I prefer the jar ones at Meidi-ya though. The ones at the other 2 shops seemed more watery n diluted.
