Singapore National Day Bento

Since Singapore's National Day is on this coming Friday, 9th of August, I am sharing my National Day creations first. LT will be skipping School tomorrow, because we are heading down to IT's School for his Sports Day. :) I've made some National Day bentos last year as well. You can check them out HERE.

For this year, I made the four main races in Singapore surrounding our flag. The red portion of the flag is rice coloured with deco furi, the moon and stars are cut out from cheese. The side dishes in the other box are meat patties, broccoli, golden kiwis and strawberries.

The four kids are made from rice coloured with pink and yellow deco furi and sausages.

I also made some Singapore flag toast for snacks. This one is cream cheese toast with strawberries and bananas.

This toast is for me, not my boys, they hate bananas. -_-

This version is for my boys. This is strawberry jam and cream cheese toast.

The words are lightly toasted bread and the heart is a strawberry. :)
