Panda Bento & Monbento Review

The box is beautiful. It's made from sturdy plastic and comes in a variety of colours. The double tier box is large, the total capacity of this is 1l and is really great if you have a big appetite. They have single tier box at 500ml too.


Monbento boxes have a special feature not found in most bento boxes, it has a special lid that makes it air tight. Very cool, because you don't have to worry about your liquid spilling out. The box is also microwave and dishwasher safe. It's definitely a durable box that will last.


The double tier box capacity is too big for my boys. I tested it out by packing a bento for myself first. One tier is packed with rice, topped with furikake. I added 2 purple carrots on the rice. The other tier is packed with kanimi, edamame, cucumbers, tomatoes, capsicum and naruto.


I'm a small eater, so this box is a little too big for me, a single tier will be better. But if you have a good appetite, this box will be perfect  for you.


One tier of the box is 500ml, just nice for my boys. I packed some inari sushi for my boys using the Monbento. They get one tier each.


Panda is made with rice and nori. I also packed tomato meatballs, grapes and strawberries.
