Yay, it's Friday again, but it's going to be a busy weekend for us though. Something simple to end the week, mousie and cheese on bread cups. :) I took some photos on how to make the quail eggs mousie, hope it's useful. :)
Salmon mayo and sausage bread cups for lunch. :)
I added ngoh hiang (pork rolls), grapes and strawberries as well. :)
Bread cups and grapes for School.
I found a mousie pick in my stash, lol. :)
To make the mouse, first, boil quail egg, and cut around 1/3 of it as shown in the picture. I'm using bread crust for the ears.
Slot the ears into the quail egg. Slice off pink portion of kamaboko (japanese fishcake) and use a round cutter to cut out the nose.
Attach on the nose using angel hair pasta. These are the punchers I used for the eyes.
I used angel hair pasta for the whiskers. You can use a knife or a triangle cutter to cut out the cheese. I used a straw to poke the holes.
There it's done, I used picks for their tails. :)
