The Pandas, Kai Kai and Jia Jia arrived at the Singapore Zoo last week. The boys have been bugging us to bring them down to the Zoo, they saw posters of the two Pandas around our estate a month before their arrival. We have yet to bring them down, not in a hurry to join the crowd, lol. Today's bentos are inspired by Kai Kai and Jia Jia, I made them according to the cute graphics I saw on the Singapore Zoo website. :)
The onigiri version of the Pandas, I forgot to add the blusher under Jia Jia's eyes. -_-
For lunch, they also had asparagus, wings, strawberries and grapes. :)
Bread version of the pandas, filled with jam.
There's also grapes (hidden underneath the leaf baran) and wings.
Made Hokkaido chiffon last Thursday. I wanted to post about it, but didn't because I got addicted to a Taiwanese drama and was busy watching the episodes instead. :P
I've never tasted Hokkaido chiffon before, but I like this recipe, the cake is light and the cream compliments it very well.
Will share the recipe next time. :)
