Owls for lunch, saw this onigiri version online, brown portion of rice coloured with just a teeny weeny bit of dark soya sauce. Ears are bread and branch was cut out from bread crust.
Served with five spice meatballs, asparagus rolls and strawberries.
Sandwich version of the owl for School. :)

My dinner last night, greens with pan fried meatballs and beef asparagus rolls. The boys had similar stuff for dinner, and for their lunch boxes today. I usually keep some marinated food from the night before and cook it in the morning for their lunch boxes.
I am AMAZED by these owl bentos !!!!!!!!! Especially the rice ones !!! I love owls, they are cute, look good to eat, the bread crust idea for the branch is just crazy !!!!! You will always surprise me with your gorgeous ideas !!!!!!!!!!!
