This giraffe bento is part of our holiday memories theme again. We stayed at this lovely safari hotel called Leofoo resort for two nites in Taiwan. It's located just next to the leofoo theme park. But the main reason we chose it was the close proximity we can get with the animals, there's a full glass window in every hotel room, so you get to wake up to the animals right in your room.
Bento for IT, in the box are rice, tamago, minced pork patties, carrots, strawberries and blueberries. Tried out this new recipe for the patty, it has green apples as an ingredient and that made the patty extra juicy. :)
Bento for LT, same stuff as IT's box.
IT's bento for School, in the box are Nutella sandwich, tamago, pork patty and grapes. There's tonkatsu sauce in the yellow container.
Giraffes for today, coz of their giraffe experience at Leofoo.
I had the same meat patties, added in sambal stingray, and broccoli/carrots.
This is leofoo resort, there's a bridge that goes over the whole animal compound. The place was very windy! :) It was a great stay, but the rooms come with a hefty price tag. :(The animals were all very close, I did not even have to zoom in.
The giraffe up close. The boys loved the experience. :)
Another view.
LT tried to feed them but it was actually not allowed. -_-
Long eyelashes, which we learnt in the safari tour that it helped to protect them from poking leaves on the trees.
Love the toilet signs, this was the only indication of the gender.
It's weekends again, I'll be back next Monday with more bentos. Have a great weekend! :)
